Worst Dream Ever.

Feb 09, 2008 05:17

Like whoa. Ouch. I hurt right now and woke up with tears in my eyes and a heavy feeling in my chest. It's soo amazing how real dreams can feel.

Oddly my phone is ringing right now and it's one of my close friends. Weird.

I have been dreaming and remember my dreams a lot lately. Good thing they are only dreams!

I LOVE to wake up and remember my dreams because it doesn't happen very often, but this one was just super intense. Very interesting what things come out in a dream.

i'm not remembering them so much as i am waking up feeling angry - well angry isn't the right word, i'll sometimes be in the middle of shouting something in my dream and wake up as though i'm aout to yell something...or all sweaty like i'm running or something, heart racing, etc... not angry, but emotional? excited? no, that makes it sound like i'm waking up all horny...though there is always the morning wood...

wow that came out all wrong.

i should use the delete button right now, but no. HAH! you have to bask in all the wonder that is my crazy!

oh! you still looking for a job? there's going to be a few opening up in my department in the very near future (if they aren't available right now anyway)

Yes, still looking. What department and what's the job title so I can look for it online. Is this at Stanford?

nope, kaiser santa clara. though there are a lot of entry level jobs at both places. what jobs do you have it telling you about?
the position i'm thinking of is in the emergency dept, it's a registration clerk/unit assistant position.

I was referring to Stanford Hospital and their are several admittance/clerk positions. I'll check into Kaiser and see if there is anything of interest. Since I'm currently temping and making cash I'm being kind of picky about the job I get because I'd still be looking for something better if I took a clerk position, but something is better than nothing. =) Also, if it starts at $20 I should definitely look into it.

Thank again for all your help. I might still contact you about the Stanford position. I need to contact someone on Monday who is supposed to be managing in the ER. I haven't been able to connect with them, so i'll try again on Monday. I went out for a temp position and one of the employees randomly asked if I was looking for full time work and handed me his card. It's his wife that's working there.

For Kaiser do I just check the website or do you need to ask about the position?

We should meet for coffee sometime too. When you're not soo busy.

hah! you don't even want to know what my schedule looks like for the next few weeks...

though, i'm free right now if you're in the area, and there's a coffee shop right there at the pruneyard (and a bar - yay!). if you want, we can meet up tonight, and i'll go over some of the positions you could look for. matter of fact, i've got my union book too, so you'd know the starting wages too.

I'm headed to a friends bday in SF, but hit me up randomly whenever you have the time.

I used to live in Campbell right near the Pruneyard and loved it. I lived on Apricot (the only street with trees where all those townhouses/apts are). I love Orchard Valley. YUM. That sounds soo good right now! If only I was ready to head out the door! I still need to shower/get ready for the evening.

Thanks again!

So, I'm finally getting around to their painfully sloooow site and there are soo many jobs posted. What should I be targeting for entry level to where I would actually get an interview?

Also, do they not clean up their job postings?

there's a lot of entry level positions, but i don't know if they're all open or not... it's much easier to show you in person. any type of registration clerk position. i'm actually going to be talking to my managers tomorrow about posting more positions...

when are you free after tomorrow?
