I finished a book!

A very lengthy book. It's not like I haven't finished books before, but I don't have a good record of it. I tend to start them and then lose interest or just don't have the motivation to sit down and read. The past several books though have changed this! "Wicked," "Sweeney Todd," "Chocolat," and a couple others ( Read more... )

Girl I love Wicked! It is one of me and my brother's favorite books and musicals. In fact we have an extensive fanfiction based on the series. Ours is based on the musical thought not the book. Though pretty much everything in the book we included in the musical canon by writing. Obviously I would like to read the book based on Sweeney Todd and I heard that Chocolat was good.
On your Life issues well I hope you get your Substitue Teachers permit. I also hope that your regular job works out as well.

Wicked was great! I'm glad it lived up to all the hype people were giving it. My mom and I are going to see the musical in November, and I'm really excited.

I was just thinking on the subbing job - can you imagine if some student "knew" me for my fanfics?! since I have "ST. MINORITY" tattooed on my forearm and it's big. Awkward! lol It would be epic.

Yeah I loved it as well. We went to the Musical a while ago and intend on going again.
That would be very good for you to be working as a substitue teacher. I have always loved and respected educators. Tell me what school grade will you be subbing? That would be neat if a student recognised you from your fics by your tatoo. Could you imagine if a student just bluted out. "When are you going to have your next chapter of Cleansing!" LOL!

Is the musical as good as the book? I'm not really a big fan of broadway, but it looks entertaining and the music isn't too bad. Usually, I can't stand broadway recordings!

For a sub, I think I'll be all over the place - from elementary all the way up to high school. I could get specific and say which group I'd prefer to sub for, but I think for a little while it might be good to work at various levels.
God, would my face be red if that happened! Man, that would be something else. I can't even imagine it!! lol! Plus, my Willy Wonka "W" is right by it, so if someone asked what it's for, would I have to explain my dabblings in chan slash??? LOL
