Looking for 2 fics! Second found!

I'm looking for a two fics i've read a while back. I the second one was a series, both probably were on ao3.
1. I only remember one part of the first fic i'm looking for. I Think it was before christmas/some other holiday/after Nero and everyone had some time scheduled to comm their family or loved ones. Uhura took care of scheduling everyone and she got into an argument with Jim because he told her he didn't need his slot and she was supposed to give it to someone else. Apparently he didn't have anyone im his life to call.
I think Jims first reaction to Uhuras question was something along the lines of 'I don't need to comm anyone, you should give my time to someone who you think needs if the most, or you van split it between the crew' or something like that.
2. (Found!) It consisted od a lot od parts, on the beggining three was the story of kid!genious!jim and his brother who befriended a vulcan. They were on Tarsus together, and I remember that the Vulcan went into pon farr and raped Jim. During the following parts of the series Jim has very negative feelings about their entire race.
I remember bits and pieces of the part of the story where Jim is the boss of a very big company and they figure out how to grow some kind of very strong grain that could withstain very harsh weather condition. Nobody knew that Jim was the boss of that company and he nad to explain himself to the starfleet because they bought a lot od things for starships from them
The last thing i remember is something about Jim being an emperor or someone lime this of some planet, and again nobody knew about it untill he and they crew had to go there and he had to fight to death wit people who wanted to take his position, because he was away all the time.
I had this fic saved somewhere, but i can't remember where :/
