This is gonna be looong.
I've been meaning to blog for weeks now. I guess I'll do it... but it'll be long-winded and not as detailed as it could be, because I've already forgotten half of the stuff I wanted to talk about. :P
So let's see. Several weeks ago is a good place to start. Torrey came home for the weekend, so I did too, and then everyone else did. We went to Dunkin Friday night, and we were sitting there, and we randomly decided we wanted to find an IHOP because Marcy and I had never been to one and we wanted some pancakes. So I called Mary and asked her to go to the IHOP site (because it wouldn't work on our phones) and find out where the nearest one was. She said it was in Wyomissing, and she gave us directions there and said it would take like an hour or so. So Marcy, Torrey, and I went, at like 11:30 at night. We drove through Catawissa like the directions said... but then they stopped making sense. There were no signs for Wyomissing... we were in places like Centralia, Mount Carmel... yeah. Places no one ever wants to be. But we kept driving... every half hour or hour or so, we'd see a place in the directions that we should have reached in like five minutes, according to what Mary told me. We were sure we were going the wrong direction a bunch of times... and we finally ended up in Reading at 3am. SCARY OMG. We were lost in the slums... after driving around for a while, we decided we should go into a gas station for directions... and by "we", I mean they sent me into the gas station at three in the morning in one of the scariest cities in the country. How nice are my friends?
It didn't matter though... nobody in the store knew where we were trying to go and I didn't get killed so no harm done. So we went back to driving around... at one point we ran out of road and ended up in what looked like the parking lot of an abandoned warehouse... yeah... and we were driving down this one street, and we stopped at a stop sign, and there was this loud band and the car behind us was suddenly out of control... we're not sure what it was, but we think we might have witnessed a drive-by shooting. :ph34r: So anyway, we kept driving because at this point we didn't even know how to get home... we ended up on this main highway and we drove for a while. and eventually we decided we were going the wrong direction and turned around... and on the way back on that road we found the exit for Wyomissing. >.< So we decided we might as well get some pancakes after all this, even though it was like 4, 4:30 in the morning... and they were CLOSED. After all that. So we went to the Wawa right beside it for gas and some combos and asked the guy working how to get home, and he told us. I thought we were gonna die, though... we all kept falling asleep, including Torrey, and we kept hitting rumble strips. Scary stuff. But we got home in one piece... and we decided that our next adventure will be to a Sonic, and then to a White Castle.
The Tuesday after that, Vern, Marcy, and I went to Cracker Barrel for dinner, and they had all their Christmas stuff out already, and we thought it would be a good idea to go to Walmart and start doing some Christmas shopping so we could decorate early. Once we got there though, we mostly ended up playing with the Christmas stuff and buying Halloween decorations... except we got a Christmas tree. And we decided it would be a great idea to put it up that night and make it a Halloween tree. So that's what we did. We bought black garland with jack-o-lanterns, put purpley lights on it, Vern strung some popcorn garland together, and we made a whole bunch of tissue ghosties for it. We also got spiderwebs for the windows and Marcy cut some eyes out of black construction paper to put over the windows in the doors, along with some red cellophane... it looked pretty amazing.

The weekend after that was Reading weekend so we all went home, but if I remember correctly, we didn't do anything. The weekend after that though, last weekend, we stayed at school, and we didn't really have anything planned for Saturday, but Josh ended up coming up to visit because he was bored, and Rob was here too. Josh, Debbie, and I went to Applebees, which is always enjoyable... then Josh and I played Wii Sports when we got back. I pwned him like a n00b every time, and it irritated him to death. Especially baseball... he won one of the games, but I kept kicking his ass. hehe. The day after that, Sunday, Saf came up to visit and we went for Chinese, which was amazing because I hadn't had any in a long time... then we went to Starbucks and acted retarded in public, and then we went to visit an apartment at MOA because Saf was talking about coming up to Bloom and we thought it would be cool to all live together. But that's another story. She ended up staying till like 10pm... it was fun, we played a lot of Guitar Hero and Mario Party.
Ummm.... I think that's about it. Everything else is more recent and deserves its own entry. :D
