Web updates.

Been sick for the past few days, so since my energy levels were low, I've been a couch spud for those few days, whenever I am not actually sleeping in bed, or trying to sleep. Coughs have been hard, keeping me up longer than normal before finally drifting off. I've also had a rough voice, and lots of headaches and body pains, and the energy levels are just shot.

So, if I must be a couch spud, I realized I could at least update my web site with the outfits from this past year. Which also made me realize I've not done this in about a year. I've also not taken many photos of some of my outfits, either. I've got loads of in progress shots on some projects, and other projects have very few progress shots. And a few have no final photos. This is annoying me. Must take more photos once the project is done if nothing else.

The pages I've completed are the ones for my B&W 1590s outfit, and the photos of both kids' Halloween outfits. And since I've got no photos to do work on a couple of items, I decided to just update the look of main Warderobe page as well, tightening the images into a much smaller area, and dropping the extra info. I will have to update some of the old pages to add in the missing info now, but that can be done later.

The two new outfit pages are using the lightbox javascript to pop up the images within the page, instead of going out the other pages. I did this on Margo's site, and it does make it easier overall, as I only have one page to worry about writing. It was a pain to install, as the program didn't want to work, until I remembered I had to put the main file in the same directory as the html file calling it. This is a pain because it means every directory will have a copy of that file. Thankfully, it will be a copy/paste thing from now on.

I am also not sure I like how it works with the larger images I am used to making. At least the program allows a person to move the page around to view it all, if it is too big for their browser window normally. The only drawback is for those who have javascripts turned off, or using an older browser. They won't see the nifty photo placement, it just pulls up the photos normally in a blank new window.

I am also debating again getting a paid LJ account. Question is... pay for this one and get more interesting icons, or the creative account that is linked to my web site? I'll sleep on it, as I'm in no hurry.

I think I need to head off to bed soon to rest before the kids get up. I only hope I don't cough for a long time before I fall asleep, again. I hope I will feel better tomorrow.
