Today was a good day. A little sleeping in. Lunch with my family at McD's, including Rob who joined us straight from work. He got a few shots of the CSUFresno band who were in front of city hall for the Veterans parade, including one of my eldest son Sean in his band uniform.
We then went for playtime at Woodward park, where Sean and his fiance Anne eventually joined us. He and Cam hit it off, but Relle was a bit shy, since this is her first real memory of him. She was only a baby when we saw him last. But the three rolling down the side of a hill, just because, is a cherished memory now. We got time to talk, although a phone call from his father took Sean away for a bit, and he returned a bit more somber. His elderly grandparents are not doing well. I didn't ask any further.
We had to leave as it got colder, and the little ones had forgotten their jackets. Sean also had to do some errands. I hope to see Sean again near Thanksgiving, tho not directly on any holiday, since time will be spent with his and her families. But that's ok.
Tonight I've been sewing, which I need to get back to. Nothing spectacular, but progress. I just wanted to post about my day while I took a break.
All in all, a great day.
