Sad Saturday
This Saturday was not a good day for my friends.
As some may know, my friend Craig (docryder) lost his father that day after various illnesses had him in and out of the hospital. Craig is doing ok, as is his family, and they are working on making plans for his memorial and wake later this week.
Now, I just found out that Christine Helman, a woman involved in local ren-faires who I've known for a few years also lost her husband Michael rather suddenly. They aren't sure what caused his sudden death. She just found him face down on the floor. Maybe a seizure, or maybe a heart attack, or something else. She wanted to let court people know that he won't be around to drum at processions, which he had recently taken up doing this year. I have done this as she requested.
