I just saw an amusing yet sad local commercial. A woman who described how after having children, her "confidence level" dropped, and how this cosmetic surgeon (given by name) helped her to "increase her confidence level". I am badly paraphrasing, but I had to laugh, and laugh...
Really now, "confidence level" as a euphemism for the woman's breasts. How sad is that. That after providing natural nourishment for one's children, that breast enhancements was the only way to increase her confidence.
What... was she not confident in her SELF before she had kids? Is having breast enhancements the only way to become confident in her SELF? Is that the best word she/they could use for breasts???? How sad, and yet how funny, to consider ones breasts as the indicator of ones "confidence level".
I guess from the naturally declined state of my own breasts that my confidence level must be shot. Yet, I don't feel a lack in my confidence level.
Yeah, I guess you had to be in the room to understand the humor.
