Books!
Ok, it is finally my turn to squee about Janet Arnold's Patterns of Fashion 4, along with a new book on patterning men's historical clothing, both of which arrived on my porch this morning. The box was a bit crumpled from its long distance travel from the UK, so I poked my nose inside to make sure everything is ok. Seems amazon skimped on their tape, as it was barely holding together at the taped line.
But... I don't get to read either yet. I have to actually wait for Christmas eve, since it is one of my Xmas gifts. I was a good girl, and other than making sure the book looked alright on the outside, I did not open it, since otherwise I would be reading it right now.
And that's alright, since I've got a lot of other things to do.
Oh, another squee... and this may seem simple to many of you. But I actually found a pair of jeans at Costco, and it actually fit me! It's about time they sold pants above a size 12. Their max sizes is a 16. I also got Relle a cute Tinkerbell outfit, and a new blue winter jacket for Cam, since he lost his last one.
