AoB hood sewing progress

Tired, but I have the 3 of the hoods cut out, and on their way to being sewn up. I am using silk/rayon velvet, so I have to hand baste first to the lining before I can serge them together, so that's taking longer than I expected. But better to do this, than to worry about finishing edges, and about shifting silk.

I am using a black cotton remnant I had in stash for two of the linings, with the third being red silk shantung for that turnback part faced over white linen, or maybe another black cotton if I can find it (I forgot to record where I put that one).

The only one I do not have cut out is the semi-circle. I am not sure if I need a fourth one, and I am not sure if it will be a circle shape, or an elongated circle shape. I am also not sure if I have enough of the silk velvet left, since the long hoods took a little over a yard in length, and the rectangle used up the other portions of the left over sewn together down the middle. I have a little less than a yard but it is a full width piece, so maybe I can make the circular hood from it.

And photos of the mockups remain to be dealt with. But off to bed.
