Odds and Ends

I am taking a break from hand sewing my loose gown sleeve puffs trim. It is curved, and shaped, so I can't do it very well by machine. Thankfully, it is small and easily dealt with by hand. I have one puff done, and started into the next puff.

I am hoping I will have both outfits done by Costume College, so I had better actually DO the sewing I have in front of me. The linen kirtle I haven't touched in awhile, so I really need to get that out and finish the eyelets, so I can see if it actually fits now. Thing is... I may now be a size 14! (w00t!!), so I may have to take the sides in a bit, but I won't know until I fit it on.

Yeah, I put on an old pair of size 14 shorts, since my 16s are hanging off of me a bit. I was able to zip them up and button them, but it was a bit tight, so I am going to hold off on wearing them for a bit. I don't like tight clothing. But this is a good thing.

And I found that I really should NOT be given a whole bag of chips during game night. I think I ate most of the bag, and rather mindlessly, too. They were very yummy, but I am not going to do that with a bag like that anymore.

Well, back to sewing.
