... all the pieces are now sewn along all edges. I started piecing them together, but I think I am making the seam too tight together, as it has a ridge, the seam looks more like a satin stitch, and having looked at the pics on
the Elizabethan Seam, I know I am sewing it wrong.
So, I will have to rip that seam out, and redo it with only a single thread, not doubled, and not so closely packed.
And I am using Gutterman's quilting cotton, which has a hard crispness to it that I am not sure if I like or not. But the color matches pretty well, and I don't have any decent linen threads other than white, black and bright yellow. So it will do for now.
