Blah...
I am sick, and I am tired of being sick.
It is a head cold, which I thought was just being tired from a late night gaming, but it isn't. Not sure if I got it from the kids, or from archery practice in the wet weather yesterday, but I am miserable, and my sinuses hurt even with some pain meds.
So, I am doing little today other than sleeping, which I have done lots of. I am bored of sleeping, butmy brains don't want to work properly to do much of anything else. I have read my emails (what few there are) and friends LJ posts, played a computer game of Bejeweled till my mind is mush.
I am debating which to go to this fall. GWW which I would only be able to attend Fri-Sun, or Fall Collegium, which has the special IKINS embroidery symposium classes added. I need to make up my mind soon, because IKINS has a limited number of spots open. I can really only afford to go to one, and I think the GWW event would be a little cheaper since I won't have to pay for the farther distance in gas, or any hotel costs. Both would require meals.
Also debating in my head is again, simple work Tudors? Maybe another simple loose kirtle? Or making the Burda 7977 pattern I have, and amusingly, I have those exact colors in fabric ready to go; medium blue linen for the kirtle, and a red soft brushed cotton for the surcoat(?) and fleur-de-lis trim in white. I will probably die the red to a burgundy or purple as it is a bright red. Either way, I need to figure this one out asap, as I want it to wear for camping at Baronial Anniversary in a few weeks, so I need a simple lightweight linen dress for the expected hot weather.
And I need to get my Uniquely You dress dummy fitted soon, too. I got it last week around Thursday, and it is still in the box waiting for me to do something with it. Blah. I am too sick right now to care, and that's sad indeed.
