I just heard the news from sca-garb of the death of a woman whose research I respected in the costuming world.

National Museum's Dunleavy dies

The death has been announced of Máiréad Dunleavy, former keeper of Art and Industry at the National Museum of Ireland.
She was also the former Director of the Hunt Museum.
She died early this morning.
I enjoyed her research into Irish dress through the ages; meaning the book Dress in Ireland.
May she rest in peace.
