Slow going.
You know, pad stitching a canvas (or in this case drill) interlining is a lot more time consuming when the partlet is already made up, than it would be if I had done this *before* I made up the partlet last winter. Oh well, live and learn to trust my sewing instincts when the directions I was following made no mention of an interlining.
I've only gotten the two front pieces hand sewn into place, and pad stitched. That took me a few hours while gaming last night, and another half hour right now to finish the second piece. I now have to do the back piece, but figured I would take a small break to write this down.
