Frock coat photos

So, the frock coat is now mostly done, and gone for now.

I say mostly done, as I didn't have time to do all of the buttonholes, actually, none of the buttonholes, as my son ended up sick that final day, so I had to tend to him, and all I had time for was to finish up the last of the 30+/- buttons (which was about half done the night before).

But here's a link to a few of the photos of the dark red velveteen 1760s frock coat, as seen on a hanger. It looks better on the man. I am supposed to get photos of my client wearing the thing in full larp gettup (the new Changeling venue I was told). I will also get the coat back so I can finish those buttonholes so he can wear this in his local venue. I will then take better photos on my good camera.

I also should redo the collar, as I didn't know that the whole collar seams should have been 3/8", not the standard 5/8", so the interlining was shifting as I was brushing the coat down. Best to check fit before trimming things, or to just redo the darned collar when I had the time. It might have saved me some time, too. Ah, well. Things I learned.
