Almost done

The body of my client's frock coat is DONE!!! It shall be seen at ICC/Conclave, for those of my WW larp friends who are attending (barring some horrible thing unforeseen at this point, like a flood or earthquake stopping me or my client).

The only part left is all of those buttons... as many as I can do. Oh, and the decorative buttonholes.

I will have to say that it has been ... interesting... trying out a new pattern while under a time crunch. There are some issues I have with the way the coat is fitting in the back, and I have done what I could to make it right, but there is something going on I don't understand why it is happening, and I don't have time right now to refix it, again. But I did my best.

But I want one of these for me... just like in "The Highwayman" poem. This coat almost is exactly what I had pictured. Just needs a bunch of lace at his throat.

Now for a short break before starting those buttonholes.
