Almost
Well, the gown has been refitted and the skirts completely sewn into place. Now I can rest my hands until tomorrow, when the final touches will be sewn into place.
I hate to say this in fear of a jinx, but for once... for once I will be completely ready in a completed outfit, all jeweled, with a good hood (tho not the English one I wanted to do), with foresleeves and forepart of bling, and all.
This faire, I won't be doing servant duty because my gown was incomplete. And this faire, I will be lighter of body, too. And for the chilly Saturday morning, I even have a partlet to wear to keep my upper chest warm. Oh, my. I feel like I am getting ready for a Ball! Ah, if only.
Well, off to shut things down, and take a good shower. I need it.
