More 1590s image hunting...

It is the one ninya_mikhaila used as inspiration for her blue damask gown that I adore. I wonder if I could recreate the portrait image, perhaps with some machine embroidery for the gold suns? stars? I think I need a better copy of this image. Ok, I sent an email asking for more info on buying a small copy of the image.

Here's another one that is more age appropriate for me, since I am no spring flower anymore.

The big problem with this one... I really can't see much detail as to the design of the gown. Black on black is such a bitch. That, and I don't want to wear black at faire. Too hot.
