Looking over Apple stuff

So, poking around Apple.com, I see a few things of interest, to help me move (if I decide to do so) from PC to Mac.
How To Move To Mac:
Let Move2Mac do it for you
Share your PC keyboard, mouse, monitor and Internet connection
Move your files using a network.
So, basically I can still use my old computer (before it dies for good) as a server, until I get comfortable with a full move to Mac. Hmmm...

And Rob did talk to me a bit tonight about moving to Linux. I don't know... part of me would love the freedom from Windoze, and part of me just isn't into the constant tinkering I see him and rwfranz do all the time. I know, I don't have to tinker if I don't want to.

So many choices in front of me.

Reading on... I see this program called Aperture. Talk about a digital photographers heaven, at least for my needs. Photoshop I love, but I don't use its full capabilities for what I do now. This program may just fit my bill, and at a much lower price. And since it works with RAW photos, I would have a greater incentive to finally get a digital SLR. Oooh, and it is optimized for the SLR I would possibly get!

Then there's the simple Mac Widgets. Those also look fun!

Wow, so many things of interest in these Mac products. Yet, I've been a PC user for a long while. I think I need to investigate Vista next, but for now, it is wayyyyy past bed time.
