Fabric shooting.

I have an interesting dilemma. I have some fabric I am going to put up on eBay, because I don't want it in my stash anymore. Either they are remnants (at least a yard or so), or I no longer want to use them in what I make.

But I have this one fabric that belongs to someone, that I was going to do a costume piece for. Problem is... its been so long, I don't remember who it was for, or what I was supposed to do with it. It's about 7 yards of nice cotton fabric, in a teal blue (not my color). I think I was supposed to make a leine out of it, or maybe it was supposed to line something. I don't recall exactly. I think it may have been an ex-bf's material, and if so, I don't know if I should keep it and try to return it to him, or what?

I am uploading it to Yahoo Photos, to try them out. I may also try out flickr. You can view the photo here:

I am also not happy with the color coming from the camera. I shot the images with afternoon sun coming into my window, so the colors I thought would end up more true than what I am getting. I have this lovely looking shade of blue-purple, very rich in color (if only the fabric itself was as nice), but the pictures show a rather bland navy blue.

I will try taking photos later tonight with full lighting on the table. Maybe that might pump up the color. Or I may try scanning the fabrics in. Hopefully something will work to get the true color of the fabrics.

Edit: It's a good thing I know how to use Photoshop. I just needed to adjust some of the color levels. Cool.
