waiting for 12th night.
I am sitting here waiting for 12th night, while wearing most of my garb. I won't put the gown on until I have to, as then my ability to move around, reach for things, and hopefully not knock off stuff in my path is highly limited.
I am very happy with my new partlet. I didn't get around to sewing on the eyelets in the front, but a single hidden safety pin is holding it shut just fine. I did manage to get my skirts solidly sewn on, instead of just at the tops of each cartridge pleat, so I shouldn't be showing too much of the yellow linen kirtle anymore. I do plan on taking my digital camera this time, so hopefully I can upload photos when I get home, or at the latest tomorrow.
Well, I should get the batteries in the camera charged up, and see what else I might be forgetting... like actual cash for drinks. I hope my fruit jello is solid by now. I don't cook period foods anymore. I tried it a couple of times, and most people were not willing to touch it, let alone try it. And one was just a simple shepherd's pie!!
