A further thought on that last post... I think I can see a benefit to getting a serger, because if I had a serger, I would not have needed to pink/trim the wool as it would have been trimmed already, and so would the silk, which I cannot pink because it is too tought to pink, even as it frays badly.
I would still have to clip places, but at least the edges would be trimmed and nicely finished, which would cut down the time a lot more.
So, serger is next on the list of big sewing things to buy, then a Uniquely You squishable dress dummy, because I really need one to work on. If only it came in a male form as well.
I also need a small stereo system with a remote control to change the damn channel when bad rap songs show up on JackFM. I really despise rap music noise. Sadly the small music box/alarm clock, is up high where it is hard to reach even to turn on. Thank goodness rap noise is only once in a while, and the rest of the time I enjoy the music they play, which is mostly stuff I grew up on.
