Just made an order...
I ordered the Rowenta DG-980 Expert Steam Generator, the one with the separate and removable water tank. I could have bought it for a little less, but I wanted it sooner, and wanted a company I know will stand behind the product should it arrive defective. I could have also settled for the Rowenta that doesn't have a removable water tank for even less, but I wanted that removable tank.
Finally, I can presteam my good wools and know it will be well steamed, and steam out my faire garments, and press my linen shirts and smocks, and maybe even do regular ironing projects... yeah, right.
My mom would have been in ironing heaven with this one, I think. She's the one who loved to iron everything, and usually with starch and all!
I can't wait until it arrives!! This is strange for me, I usually don't get giddy buying basic tools like an iron, but I've been waiting a long time to get my hands on this one.
