Well, yesterday and today was busy working on cleaning up my sewing room. For the most part it is done as the space was already organized fairly well... I just had to put things away and go through bags and odd boxes and baskets of things I just dumped in here. The biggest issue now is the reorg of my desk drawers, which can wait for now. Since my business is basically on hold, I really should use the desk drawers for something else, and I am not sure what yet.

I also have many stacks of game books that either need to be sold off on eBay (like my Changeling books that apparantly are in hot demand, still), or donate them to someplace. I will see if eBay works for them, and if not, then donations will do. I want them out of this house. I also have old Handwoven and Spin-off mags from the late 90s I will eBay as well. Not sure if there is a market for them, but who knows... it's worth a try.

I did get my new tailoring book bought from eBay in today (well, yesterday, but picked up today). It looks great so far at a glance, and I think it's worth the price I paid for it. Will review it better later.

Tonight after Cam goes to bed I hope to get my message boards up, and my printer's case that I want to use for holding my threads. I really should paint that wall first, but since that may be a bit before I get around to painting it, and I need to protect my threads now.

I've also come to realize that I need to make my home drapes this summer, before I get into the hat issue, so drapes are first on my todo list. I really need my sewing room drapes to block out the summer sun that shines directly in here. This room is great tho on a breezy day like yesterday was, as I can open both windows, turn on the ceiling fan, shut off the a/c and just enjoy a cool breeze.

Oh, one other thing I did this weekend was create on Windows a doc for my 4x6 index cards to help me inventory my fabric collection. I figured I should keep up on this starting with the new fabrics I just bought. I just hated printing out the same base descriptors all the time, so now that gets printed out, and I can just add in the fabric info. I will have to make a page for my trims as well, since I have many of those on cards. I don't own as many trims as I do fabric, but I do own about a half-dozen shoeboxes full, and I may as well make it easy on myself there as well.

Well, time to go... later!
