It's beginning to feel a bit like AUTUMN!!!

The past three days have been absolutely beautiful... I've been waking up to cooler temps and cloudless skies, and I love it! Friday night and Saturday morning were Kappa initiation ceremonies at UCF. It was honestly just weird not having them in a house. We were walking around in our garb on Saturday morning in the UCF Student Union, while a Kaplan test prep class was going on across the hall from us, and they didn't even cover up the windows. I know they wouldn't know this, but for me it somehow seems less special. The ceremonies were beautiful, though... I needed to hear the words again.

After it was all over on Saturday, I was driving Allison home and we spontaneously decided to go to the beach, since it was such a gorgeous day! So thirty minutes later, we were off to New Smyrna (luckily I still had one of my bathing suits in my car since I had stolen it back from my little sister the week before!) We split a Publix sub, got some sun... I got a little too much and was a little splotchy later!

Cleaned the whole place Saturday night, including my brother's bathroom, but not his bedroom. It felt GOOD. Oh, and I rearranged my room slightly.

I watched Steel Magnolias for the first time on Saturday night, and I don't think I have ever cried so hard in my life! It was definitely an inspiring movie, and it made me miss my mom!

Sunday I skipped the Founder's Day Brunch cause I was all Kappa'd out, and went to the hotel to pick up some baby-related things that Angela wanted to give to Jessa (my cousin, due in December). Had Pio Pio with Ang for the first time in a month, and enjoyed it immensely. I swear they put some addictive substance in their empanadas!! Or maybe it's the garlic sauce?

Went to church last night for the first time in I don't know how long... Allison took me to the new church she just started going to, called Northland. It's in Longwood. I liked it... their pastor is really talented. It was a whole different production though... I'm not used to evangelical services. But, overall, I liked it! I wish I could find a fun church that was closer to me though!
