It is easy to love a loveable person, but to love a difficult person demands more. In the same way, doing things you like is easy, but doing necessary things you do not, demands more. Any child can love a lovely person, or do things they like. It takes maturity to love the difficult person, and do the thankless tasks that people take for granted.
