Don't Blame Me
I have just gone to a third round interview for a job. What kept me going was the sheer curiosity of what job they would offer me and the package involved.
What seemed like a simple job application for a position in China got me all confused. The first interview was with the hiring manager of the position, who was the CEO of operations in China. It seemed like a BD position during the interview.
Second interview was with group SVP of HR with the Head of a technology section. The approach was a more technical one. Then today, I met with the group CTO and HR, and it was all about Intellectual Property.
Sure, they are all related to the company and my work experience, but it is leaving me very confused about the position they want to fill. Is it a BD role, a technical one, an IP one, or all three? They do not even seem to know themselves!
I told them plainly that I am currently being offered another job, so they promised me that they will get back to me within a week. Really wonder what the offer will be!
