Happy New Year
Well, we are technically in 2010 already and have seen in a new decade. Lots of newspapers have looked back at the past decade and perhaps I should. Did not expect to be beginning and ending the decade in school, but I did. The years in between have been interesting. Travelled a whole lot, worked, settled down and bought a flat. The new decade marks many new changes and I hope that I will learn to break out of the safe and predictable.
I think that once we start working, we get lulled into the predictability of the job. With the money we earn, we collect things, some being totally unnecessary, to make ourselves feel good. Having less to play around with may constrain decisions, but makes us appreciate what we have even more.
