Weighing out these final chances
Mid-day golfing.
It was just like yesterday that I couldn't stop myself from announcing to the whole world that the summer was finaly here and that i could once again, (atleast for 6 weeks) not have to worry about deadlines, heep loads of homework & ofcourse, face those early groggy mornings. Well, wadah yannoe? those 6 weeks that i was only just looking forward to, have come & gone. And now we're back to the place where we lay all our blames for those ridiculous late nights and all them 'do we really need to know this?' questions. : ) Yet. . .we're also back to the place where we experience something new everyday; exchange the most smiles; share the most laughs; do and/or say the stupidest things. The place where, girls lets face it, we burn all those calories, through the non-stop walks to classes. So, the list goes on.
3 days in school and so far, so good. Honestly speaking, i was & am sorta glad to be back. That feeling of illitracy was taking over halfway the summer and my right hand was just teetering on the edge of malfuctioning & crippling. hehe. I hate it when that happens!
Anyway, Self-thought out reasons for this FINAL HS year going eitherway.
Bad, Miserable, Failure:
- Pressure & more pressure. Being a self-confessed major procrastinator, I'm really going to have to work on my time management to be able to pass this year with flying colours, e.g A*-C.
- Extra-cirricular activities. Don't get me wrong, i love Activities! but i can see a lot of them happening this year. I'l try my best to not get too carried away.
- Lack of sleep. hahaha. i promised the Cru that i would get my sleeping habits sorted..& i will.
Good, Happy, Success:
- Motivation & Focus. This summer has been spent in a lot of thinking and refreshing, & many things have really encouraged me to strive for my best, nothing less.
- Extra GCSE. A number of us were asked if we wanted to do a proper GCSE course in Christianity! Yay!! ofcourse, how could i say no?! : )AMEN.
- Friends. I've been blessed with friends who really work hard for the best. You know what they say right? 'show me your friends and i can't tel you what kind of person you are.' Special mention to loving_salmon & star_trak_4_lyf, we soo are getting those dang Grades Gurls!!
- We're doing SHAKESPEARE's Romeo&Juliet in english!! WOW!
- The First weather. This may sound hippy-ish. But the night before the first day of school, there was a vicious rainstorm althroughout the night and i only had about 4 hours of sleep. It was unbelievable! But the next day, on my way home from school, i spotted this beautiful rainbow in the sky and i couldn't take my eyes of it for a second. I dunno? perhaps it must be a sign. Surely, it must be.
