POLL: Questions about the format of a possible winter run of the sshg_promptfest (ETA)

The members-only poll about how often the sshg_promptfest should run resulted in the following results: eight poll-takers would like the fest to run once a year in the winter (January), 17 poll-takers would like the fest to run once a year in the summer (July), and 32 poll-takers would like the fest to run twice a year.

A prompt fest and a gift exchange during the year would be awesome. As May and December are two of the busiest months for me in all the year, I have been unable to write for the Prompt Fest. For me, adjusting the posting month a bit later or having a longer creating period would be ideal.

Aw, I'm sorry about that. I hope that you've been able to catch up later. If the gifting opportunity runs in winter, I may give extra writing time, but otherwise, the schedule will remain the same.

With a no strings attached wish list, not an exchange as such and no obligation to ensure everyone gets a gift? is that what you mean?

Yes, something like that. :) If the fest runs in winter as a gifting opportunity, the only change to it will be that creators will craft gifts for others rather than create works for themselves.

I'm not picky, but I want to say this: I do NOT want you to burn out! It was extremely sad when Shiv declared an end to the SSHG Exchange, and I do not want that to happen again with you or anyone else. So do whatever causes you the least amount of stress, okay?
