So this weekend was fun for me, I haven't had fun in a long time. On Saturday me and my mom went shopping for a dresser for me, for when I get a job and leave (hopefully very soon). We found a really nice one and it wasn't to expensive. Later that night I went to see "Talledga Nights" at Brad's theater (even though I watched it alone, it was still extremely funny). Brad and Leslie (not his girlfriend any longer, but his fiance, congrads to him) invited me to go to a party out in Newberry with them to meet some of the DJs from Kiss 105.3. So I got to meet Brett Douglas and his wife, Greg West, and some other guys named Carter and Turtle. It was alright, but it seemed like everyone left at the party (cause we arrived extremely late) was smoking. We didn't stay for long, and went over to Brad's grandpa's house and played Halo (they're both really good at it). The next morning me, Brad, Leslie and a couple of Leslie's friends went to go tubing down the tuck. I did have fun, even though I only saw one turtle, no snakes, and the water was freezing! Right now I'm up to another week of field sampling out at Ordway (I'm gonna miss that place) and next week me and Jamie are sampling the Georgia and South Carolina refuges. I think after that I might take a week off. I was thinking about driving up to the Appalachian Mountains or maybe going to Atlanta to see the aquarium that Tiffany had mentioned would be fun to see. I don't know yet, but I have some time to spend before I leave (or if I leave...). The interview I had with the West Palm Beach FWC office went well, I think that they really like me, but it is going to be expensive to live down there, if I take it. What do I want, that is what I keep asking myself. Unfortunately I don't know.
Oh almost forgot, the first morning of trapping out at Ordway yielded a small Siren intermedia (lesser siren), one live and one dead Siren lacertina (greater siren) and drum roll please..........in the trap with the dead siren, a baby alligator! I got photos, because it probably won't go near a trap again.
