Zeon deserves its independence. All spacenoids do. But I can't stand by while heinous war crimes and the same mistakes of the past are committed to achieve it.

The Zabi family - the previous rulers of the Principality of Zeon - were power-hungry megalomaniacs.

Haman Karn is doing the same thing they were doing... only I feel her reasoning is different. She's bent on revenge and twisted by her own anger towards the Federation. I think she can be reasoned with.

So trading one for another, I take it. If she can be reasoned with, then I see no problem with aiding you if the time comes to confront said person about their motives.

She can be very kind and sweet when she is in the mood for it. But it won't be anytime soon, at least not while she is so intent on destroying the Federation.
