ACTION POSTING TO BOTH ROUTES, BITCHES, BECAUSE MAYA CAN

Sep 22, 2011 20:37

[It doesn't matter where you are or what door you're opening.  The door may, in fact, lead to an entirely unexpected place.]
[That place being a room that is probably bigger inside than the room outside, and... it is quite a room, for it is something of a gallery, filled with paintings, sitting on easels.]

[Yuunagi's on a break from fixing the Rushbird. All's going surprisingly well on his end. That is, until he tries to return to the hangar and finds himself in this 'gallery' with a tantrum-throwing girl in it.]

...I must have taken a wrong turn...

You! What's wrong!?

[Well, it's not the first time he's been stumped, and his break isn't over yet, so he takes a look at the art around the room for a moment.]

Ah...nothing. I was looking for the hangar and this room appeared...

No! What's wrong... with the paintings? With the cityscapes?

The paintings?

[He looks at them again, but only for a second or so.]

That's impossible to answer without knowing your intentions. What do you expect them to convey?

... I, do not know. Pick one. What does it convey to you?

Then, this one has an air of loneliness about it.

If that wasn't your intention, make it brighter and livelier. It should be simple for an artist, as fixing or creating is for an engineer.

Do you think a lively world is a better one?

[He hesitates. Part of him does think it's good, part of him doesn't. So...]

Not really. But I'd be fine as long as I can live without being bothered...

You would prefer... a solitary world?

Maybe after I'm finished with all this fighting...

But as things stand, I still have to make up for what I've done, and there's a person I need to save.

Why finish the fighting first?

[Cue handclench.]

I can't just sit down in my own world while those people get away with tearing my family apart...

[By those people, he means the ones that kidnapped his grandpa of course. If it hadn't been for them, he wouldn't be out here right now.]

But your issue has nothing to do with me, does it? These paintings...as their creator, only you can fix them.

What's the matter...?

You know... Once I'm done painting, your fight will end.
