... That isn't entirely necessary, but at the same time it may be for the best.

There have been... technical difficulties with Exia's successor.

Testing with the Twin Drive System's shown there's a minor but impeding problem that's delaying completion of the mobile suit.

The system requires the GN Drives to work in tandem with one another, each acting as a springboard for the other. The problem is that the GN Drives are not all the same. There are minor discrepancies between Exia's and Sadalsuud's and so on.

These discrepancies are causing the Twin Drive System to perform below its expected level in the tests we've done.

[It clicks at this point.] Without Kyrios' GN Drive, any further testing will be impossible. Will it still be able to fight in this fashion?

Kyrios's might not even be part of the winning combination. But we have a limited window of time before someone realizes that Celestial Being's not down and out and the battery of tests we need to do are simply too lenghthy to continue doing.

It can fight though... but its performance is barely above Exia's when outfitted with Exia and Virtue's drives and that's the best combination we've found so far. And using Trans-AM may very well be a death sentence.

[Nods at this. Fighting without the use of Trans-AM wouldn't be an issue.] It will have to do for the time being.

I'd also like to make a request that the Exia gets re-outfitted, should anything happen to the Gundam if the Twin Drive system fails critically as a fallback unit.

We'll see what we can do for that end too. We'll have to lend supplies to the Chalice since we're pressed for time and can't do it ourselves though.
