And while the rest of the Chalice celebrates in loud parties, in the Arboretum, Samus sits, crosslegged and with closed eyes, under the biggest tree. As she usually does, in fact - people may have already started to grow accustomed to seeing her there, really. One wonders when the hell this woman sleeps, given the amount of time she spends there.

I am given to understand many humans enjoy alcohol intoxication greatly, so they incorporate it in their celebrations. Different cultures have different standards. [Samus mentions this rather conversationally. Though the way she speaks of humans in sort-of-third person may be a tad telling]

Kensuke walks by, with his camera pressed to his face, running about trying to get as much of the festivities on film as he can. But it's wearing him out. Kensuke's never really participated in Christmas, so he's not really sure what to do. As he wanders past where Samus is sitting, he turns and starts to film here to.
