The GDF Tower came under attack by the Rara Army, in addition to two units identified by Domon as Neros Gundam of Neo Italy and Royal Gundam of Neo England. During the battle, Yayoi Schwaer, deploying in the Core Robot 1, was injured, but her mech was taken up by a boy from a parallel universe, who used it to defeat one of the Rara mechs.
When Neros Gundam and Royal Gundam were defeated, they were replaced with two much more powerful units, Grand Gundam and Gundam Heaven's Sword. In the heated battle, one of them showed signs of self-repair, which was when Michelo revealed that they were sent by the Dark Gundam. Ultimately, through a dazzling display of teamwork, both Gundams were defeated once and for all.
