Am replaying Mana-Khemia as I type. God I love this game.
I feel the need to point out just how awesome Gunnar is. I mean, he's crazy and everything he does is embarassing beyond belief for everyone around him, but he's the broest of bros when it counts. Yeah, he sort of kidnapped Vayne for his workshop, but consider this. If he hadn't, Vayne had been kidnapped by Tony and Renee instead, and it doesn't take a quantum physicist to figure out how that had turned out in the long run.
So basically Vayne has Gunnar to thank for everything.
Also Roxis why are you so amazing. Best party member ever, I mean, magically linking tarot cards together to form a chain and whip the everloving crap out of your enemies will never not be cool. I don't care that his attacks do little to no damage, I will do anything to watch that animation. And have I mentioned his skills are awesome? His skills are awesome, both gameplay-wise and plot-wise. He's a zero-talent who worked hard and ended up having some of the best skills in the game. Breaking the fourth wall to bend reality to your will, anyone?
Oh, and I mentioned he uses tarot cards, right? And his most powerful attack is called Duelist. Let that sink in for a moment.
