second crown camp is in the books - i'm still where i need to be to get a spot. i just found out this weekend that one of our brass staff members was the "loss" soloist in the original cast of Blast! i thought he looked familiar. i'm thinking of asking him to play it for me, for five dollars.
black friday wasn't so bad...it was more tough because it was a long day than it was tough because the store was busy. they actually had me on the floor for a few hours, and i found it wasn't so bad now that i know how to help guests with questions, like "where are your irons" and "do you have any more of these vacuum cleaners in stock"
i'm going to be going all out the next few weeks where overtime is concerned, because as soon as january comes around they probably won't allow us to work over 40. i'm planning ten and a half hours days, everyday from now till christmas, then everyday after that until january. gotta get that money. i'll need it for corps and for college.
i met some people from state at the camp, one of whom said they didn't enjoy being in the NCSU marching band, but only becuase the band isn't very good and members don't take it very seriously. however, this sounds perfect for me, seeing as i'll only do it to meet people and have a good time. and get into football games for free. kickass.
i can't believe the bengals are in the playoffs.
