Happy New Year 2007

Another year passes by reminding "Time and Tides wait for none". In comes a new one let this new year bring new hope, joy and prosperity to all.

Really speaking I don't believe in New Year celebrations, for that matter I am not a guy who enjoys celebrations... and coming to resolutions, I don't wait for the a new calendar at my desk to make a resolution; also I don't feel like making some resolution just because there is a new calendar on the wall! Yes its just another day for me ... so why the wishes, because I do believe in them. Its good to say, hope and wish Good To All.

I am back with the confusion of what to write and what not? It is the reason for very few posts out here. Hmm, its a tough call. I still have no clear idea of what should go into this. I am trying my best.

While at work I ran across a few tools that were really helpful. Like Launchy, it can launch applications from the keyboard, similar to Katapult in KDE. It makes me get rid of going through the start menu tree and dig to find what I already know. I ran across sysinternals.com when I was searching for a DLL walker, bunch of tools out there are exciting, for e.g. Dependency Walker. I also like KDE's Yakuake, it can be found at kde-apps.org a cool way of using console. I am too addicted to Source Insight now exploring the full capabilities of Vim, I must say I like the new tabs feature in 7.0, what I like the best is it does not need a third hand for the mouse...

Enough for now I guess... how should I conclude? Wish the Indian Cricket Team a better year :)

tools, wishes
