pick me ups and slow me downs
yesterday was a good day. the kbeers ethos band played in lake mary, in the morning. when i got there, kenny said that matt had slept in and i would be playing drums. it was fun and i was not phenominal, but it was refreshing. the message that followed the worship sunk in. essentially it was about work not being who we are but doing our best at what we do is what glorifies God. it came from one of the most humble men i've met, so it was not a message given from a pedestal, rather a man relaying hope and a warning against personal success over glorifying God. i suppose it's time to take a shower and ready myself for the older folks. it's an arts and crafts day so it should be fun.
