A Summary of Spring Break:
Monday: Saw Sin City. Uber messed-up, but good none-the-less. I walk home from the theatre, and on reflection is the last seriously long walk I'll ever have to do. I go to Sushi Town and get Crystal Shrimp and Spicy California Long Rolls.
Tuesday: I GOT MY DRIVER'S LISCENCE!!! Very coolness. I went to my Dad's, and we went and got Mexican food. I drove to Borders and got a copy of The Watchmen, a comic book that's on par with 1984 for social commentary and on entertainment, on the Cold War Era. I go to Sushi Town again and get two Spicy California Hand Rolls.
Wednesday: Saw Miss Saigon. I apologize to all those who wanted to kill me for going to it without them. Amanda and I had fun. It was quite excellent, and I was very pleased. I found myself noticing vowel shapes, music theory, and blocking... and I realized I've been in the arts for a while... :-D We go to Sushi Town beforehand and get New York (Salmon, Avacado, and Cream Cheese), Crystal Shrimp and Spicy California Long Rolls, and 2 orders of Chicken Teriyaki, split among my Mom, my sister, my sister's boyfriend, Amanda, and myself.
Thursday: My car broke down. 2 days after I finally get my liscence, the distributor goes kaput. Fortunately my dad owns an auto-shop, and it should be back to me by Monday. I won't be able to drive to school monday in my car, but Tuesday almost for sure. Otherwise, it was fun going over to Joey's house. I go to Sushi Town yet again and get Crystal Shrimp (I like them, okay? :-D).
Friday: Went over to Amanda's house and spent a longer time than I realized watching movies and hanging out. And despite what Mandalynn may claim, Janet arrived at right about 5. I had fun. :-) Oh, and my Gamecube came in. Fun times. First day of no Sushi Town.
Saturday: Woke up earlier than I wanted to, and went to AP History Study, which went well. I think I might have a good chance at this test, as I found I knew more than I thought. I'm now out my Dad's house, looking up stuff on Aristotelian Tragedy and Comedy, so that I can give a presentation in English. I'm excited, as it may actually get me out of the hole of a bad grade that I've earned myself by slacking too long. I can't wait till my car is finally really running, because then I can go home after spending some time with my Dad. He's a good guy, but man can it get boring at his house, and listening to my step-mom and him argue gets old very fast. The thing that keeps it from being a complete bore is this computer, the fact that it has sound, and the fact that 1077 broadcasts online now. Oh, and my Gamecube, that amazingly portable thing it is.
