Last week, in the company of Pam, I made a visit to Blacksburg. It was my first trip there since we stayed at Chris and Jen's on the way to Bonnaroo in '06, and this year it was a totally different kind of visit, since it was the one-year anniversary of the shooting.

I know everyone is anxious for Italy stories and pictures, and I promise I will be sharing those in short order. Since Clark Griswold Tom took about 250 pictures, there is much sorting and naming of files to be done. But I kept notes on our trip so I could write some good LJ entries upon our return.

In poor taste and insensitive- these students have it all!

How terrible it must have been for people at Tech to see those pictures. And sad, too, for the rest of the Penn State community, most of whom would never dream of wearing a costume like that. It's a shame.
