Yawn.
Oh, poor neglected LJ. Between Work #1, Work #2 (also known as "my foray back into part-time retail to make some extra cash"), and various and sundry other things, I have not written, and I feel like there's not much to write about. Lame.
I will say, though, that while last week was incredibly busy at Job the First, it was incredibly rewarding in many ways. I got to be there for the grand opening of the newly renovated theater and see my students put on a wonderful show. I got to meet a bunch of their parents, who were all quite gracious. Overall it made me really enjoy where I work. So I wasn't too surprised when I ran into a former coworker from the Job From Hell and he said, "I'm not sure what you're doing differently, but you look good. You look happy."
I need to keep that in mind during moments like the one I had this afternoon where I had to end a phone conversation quickly so I didn't start yelling. Ahem.
But seriously...things are good. Just...crazy. And it's OK that I'm not finding the time to write about it, since that means I'm busy experiencing it- but I do want to remember to take note of these times when I'm feeling aware of my good fortune.
