I FINISHED MY LAST PAPER SO THAT MEANS MY SEMESTER IS DONE! I just have to go back tomorrow some time and turn in my ID card and parking pass and get my deposit back and then I don't have to go back to the campus again. Tomorrow Meghan nor Nicole wanted/could come to lunch at my house, but Jacy is going to come instead and my host mother is making us curry rice. Of course, my 6 year old host brother will be home, so I assume it is going to be a scream fest to no end because someone is there looking at him when he eats!!!! Oh, please - I will miss my host mother because she is adorable and flaky and bonkers, but I won't miss those stupid, undisciplined kids of hers and her husbands (she always refers to him as 'my husband', or if speaking to her mother, 'Mr. Saito' - strange, no? Oh, their last name is Saito, btw).
We are going to karaoke tonight even though I lost my voice, but I am going to see Kana my speaking partner first to give her her Christmas present! It is something small plus some books she might like once her English reading improves. She is still reading the book I gave her in September, so it might be ten years from now before she finishes these two! I might give her a copy of GQ, too, the Jason Statham issue. OH HEAVENS YES. MUST SPREAD LOVE OF JASON STATHAM. Dude, since I can't really do karaoke, I am going to force everyone to do SILLY PURIKURA with me! Really silly, I mean dorkilicious. Of course, I have to leave by 10 pm when the last bus of the night leaves, so I hope I remember that. Last time I had to take the train to Kuzuha and then wait fifteen minutes for the last bus of the night that went within half a mile of my house, so yeah. I want to go back to the US where I can just go hop in my car whenever I want.
CLIP OF THE DAY!
I love Raleigh. It's my hometown, and every time I go into Raleigh I pass by Johnson Lexus. They have the best commercials that were totally not filmed in Raleigh. They paid a California ad firm to make these, they won awards, and now everyone associates Johnson Automotive with badgers.
