Torchwood! [jumps on bandwagon]
Okay, so I've finally watched Torchwood. And it's awesome. In a "this is a ridiculous show with some questionable episodes and plots but omg the characters and scenarios are wonderful" sort of way.
OH AND THERE'S CANON SLASH. (no spoilers, really. except for, y'know. the gay.)
Not that this affects my reasons for liking the show. Ianto certainly isn't my favorite. Even if he does have fabulous suits.
So yeah, I recommend it. Though I recommend reading copperbadge's take on the series first, and following his guide of episodes to watch so that getting through first season without giving up is possible, as apparently some episodes make you want to cry. Warning that there are spoilers, but nothing too major, and knowing them won't detract from watching the show, in my opinion.
Oh, and uh, real life-wise: I'm still alive. I'm working overnights as a waitress often, and hanging out with people watching Rurouni Kenshin (which is a lovely blast from the past and OMG MEGAN LET'S MAKE IT A DRINKING GAME ONE NIGHT CAN WE? with RAMEEEEEN), and working out when I'm not sick, which I have been all week. (Mal, I lost my voice on Monday and didn't get it back until today, ISN'T THAT RIDICULOUS?)
But yeah, my real life isn't as important as Torchwood, obviously. Marathoning this show was awesome. XD
