not turning my heat on, dammit.
i'm not turning my heat on yet. i refuse.
one, because i'm a cheap bastard. i don't wanna pay.
two, because when the ever-so helpful Gary helped me move in, he insisted that proper feng-shue was to put my bed to the north, which just happens to be the wall with the heater on it. now, if i want to turn the heat on in my room, i have to completely re-arrange everything. grrr. i don't want to re-organize my room. especially since i installed curtains around my bed that required large holes in my ceiling and hollow-wall anchors and if i ever wanted to get my damage deposite back i'd better not move them and make more holes. however, at some point, i am going to have to turn the heat on in my room. when it, you know, becomes winter. i just don't have that many blankets. that and my apartment has horrible insulation. nice in summer, expensive in winter...
so, dammit, i have to move my bed. also not particularly easy when it's set on loose milk crates. this means i have to completely dismantle it and put it back together wherever it's going to go... yay!
