i've had an odd day.
I'm going through a very philosophical, introspective phase right now. which, i think, makes me even more oblivious to social ques than i am normally. might have something to do with the fact that i'm reading "Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintanence." but maybe i'm only reading because i'm going through this phase.
oooh oooh! i bought a pair of Chuck Tailors today! i've been parading around the office showing them off to everyone. i can't wait to wear them with a very short skirt. hehe.
anyways. the only reason that i am a good person to manage the project they've given me at work, is because i am completely comfortable telling everyone, "Hey! I don't know what the fuck i'm doing! keep and eye on me!". therefore i make everyone check my work and nothing gets missed.
my boss, Trish, is back. which is actually kinda nice, because she's the only one in the office whose really competent enough to help me with this project. we figured out that one of my suppliers was jacking up his price by 15,000$ and that i'll have to kick his ass to get the right price. which will be fun... i do enjoy when i get to be an asshole at work... ;D i've been riding his lazy ass all week to get me the info i need, though. it's getting old.
