this is our second week and finally i dont feel so out of my element so weird and stuck in some bizarro land, whew

i didnt realize just how long we had been over in east falls - almost 7 years!!

we can walk to our friends houses
walk to the park
walk to get beer
walk to bars
walk to coffee shops
walk to the trolly jawn
plus when we get bike locks all the above things will be "ride" to the....
in our hood we have

herb dealer
old friends
newish friends
tranny friends

collective houses with names like "get busy house" "fancy house" "the mitten" and so on
kids that go to protest

more art openings that i can even go to

dogs, tons of kitties
ages and races of all types

girl boys

indian foods

it goes on!

then:
huge ass hill at the bottom was a gas station, two resturants and a overpriced bar
no friends
the only neighboors who spoke where my BOSS
no walking
only regional rail
bus took over 20min to get downtown
to get to our friends took two trains and or three buses
rented philly car share all the time
took cabs all the fucking time
