Birthday!
Minita's celebrated her 20th birthday today!
The party was at the North Tek Tavern. It was great fun too. There was Minita, me, Kilo, Velesti, and a few other people I didn't recognize. One of the other people there, a Myche, helped Velesti set up a tray for the party food, while a Nikitak provided beverages. We all sat and chatted for a while, and several of us gave Minita some presents. I gave her an emerald statue that I found in the desert ruins.
Minita then moved a rather large box to the center of the room. When she opened it, there was an explosion of party streamers! Everyone was startled at first, but when the streamers settled, there was a huge cake where the box was! Minita then put some candles on the cake and lit them. We talked some more and, after the candles were blown out, everyone got some cake and Minita started opening her presents.
After the presents, two of the Nikitaks that were there played some music on guitars. There was more sitting around and chatting, but I had to leave soon after. I waved goodbye to the party crowd and went out into the street. I was feeling really tired then, and decided to climb onto the roof of one of the nearby houses to sleep and write this entry.
I spent some time looking up at the starry night sky, and then dozed off to sleep.
